Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

So many students today want to learn and succeed, but struggle in the regular classroom environment. My students are so active and social and energetic, but often lack the tools to express those parts of themselves while appropriately learning. The wobble cushions, chair bands, and calming strips can give quiet but effective ways to fidget. The anger ball and books can provide emotional regulation. The book bins are for organization for each students materials in calming colors to aid in making sure these things don’t get lost. I hope that through this project I can provide my students a better learning experience suited to their unique needs.
