Help me give my students the outlet they need in order to focus in the classroom. The wobble chairs and cushions will not only help my targeted students, but also destigmatize "normalcy".
My students come from all different backgrounds. I have 33 bright individuals who thrive in a creative, elaborate, and diverse classroom. About half of my students speak a language other than English. The languages that are represented in my class are Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Japanese and Vietnamese. We celebrate everyone's culture in my class, and my students love to share their traditions with everyone.

Many of my students need support with focus and containing their energy. My class is a sweet bunch that includes and welcomes anyone who comes into the classroom. I love their enthusiasm to learn every day!
My Project
The wobble chairs and cushions will help my students who need those constant reminders to stay focused while working. They will help them get energy out while working so that they can really get to work. I already incorporate flexible seating in the classroom, this will just be another feature toward it.
I love my students' energy, but they just need to refocus their energy into their work.
They are very capable; this will just give them the extra push. My students love to move around and sometimes it gets the best of them. These chairs will help with the movement so that they aren't thinking about it while they are learning.
