My students need these Wobble Chairs to help them focus more on the lessons and activities in class. They will still be able to move without distracting those around them.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is full of 18 students who are high energy, full of life, have kind hearts, love to learn and are constantly on the move. Most of my students stand or kneel in their seats because they can't sit still for long periods of time.
My school is a title 1 school with about 750 students.
They come from homes where their parents are just trying to provide the basics for them. Most of the students receive free lunch. My 3rd grade students range from ELL (English Language learners) and SLD, (students with Specific Learning Disabilities), to students that are gifted and talented.
My Project
I have a set of these Wobble Chairs in my classroom already and they've been so successful I wanted to get some more. My students who have them love them and want to see their friends who also need them get some.
With always feeling the need to move the students have difficulty focusing on the task in front of them.
With these Wobble Chairs, they'll be able to concentrate and will get more out of what they're learning about. Even though I use many strategies to keep my students engaged, I believe that having more flexible seating options will further increase their attention and their academic achievement.
