My Project

My classroom consists of 20 preschoolers, ranging from ages 3-5. The puzzle center is a high area of interest in the classroom.

Puzzles help to develop important skills that are vital for preschoolers in their developing years.

Puzzles promote problem solving, responsibility, and visual perception. Puzzles also help with fine motor skills and building routines. The students learn to separate into centers, solve the puzzle, and clean their stations up when they are done. Floor puzzles help with gross motor skills and social development. Students collaborate to solve bigger puzzles.
