My Students
I can't wait to start the new school year! I am already busy getting everything ready for my class. Kindergarten children spend lots of time in group learning. Our class will need a large easel in order to organize our large group materials.
I will be in a Title I school with a very diverse student population.
My classroom will be an inclusion classroom with a wide variety of student learning levels. We will use an easel every morning as we start our day with calendar, at shared reading time for books of all sizes and for group math activities.
My Project
Our easel will become the center point of our classroom. As we grow our student family, we hope to also teach our children that everything has a home, even classroom materials. The easel is just one place for students to learn classroom organization and responsibility. It will also serve as a gathering place for our daily group meetings.
An easel will help me and my first class of students get off to a great start!
It will add to our classroom storage as well as to the home like atmosphere of our classroom. I am looking forward to stocking it with calendar pieces, books and so much more!
