This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is filled with curious minds, wanting to discover and learn new things everyday. They are only 7 years old and constantly blow my mind with all the things they can do. They love our STEM bins every morning. They plan ahead and if their plan fails, they don’t give up and continue to try again until they meet their goal. They create games out of manipulatives and have endless opportunities to express their creativity.
They absolutely love hands-on activities, engaging projects, and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
Truly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
Everyday, students are allowed to work with a partner or group in a STEM activity for 20 minutes. With all these NEW STEM choices, students will be able to pick the project they would like to focus on and not wait 10 days for them to be able to use the same activity.
By donating to our project, you will give these 7 year old kiddos the CHOICE to CHOOSE whatever STEM activity they would like to work on.
With this project, students will get to experience Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics by incorporating hands-on explorations. There will be 24 kits, these kits provide introductions and explorations in robot technology, simple physics and magnetism. Students will be thrilled to start their day exploring and with this kits.
