My Project
As a 2nd grade teacher, I'm currently going through literacy training using LETRS. Through this course, I'm learning the importance of foundational writing skills, such as handwriting. I am hoping to get a class set of whiteboards with handwriting lines to support my 2nd grade students in forming letters correctly as we practicing handwriting, spelling and writing complete sentences. Whiteboards are an engaging and fun tool for practicing spelling, but the plain whiteboards do not encourage good handwriting practice.
I would like to support my 2nd graders to practice spelling while also modeling and providing feedback on correct letter formation.
