My Project
The use of whiteboards is a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. On our whiteboard, we display the learning point, teaching standards, and, most importantly, do math. My current whiteboard is very old and can no longer be used.
With a new whiteboard, students will have more opportunities for visual learning.
We will also be able to play more games, and students can provide visual examples of their thinking.
I often have students display their work on the board and then explain how they solved the problem. I use the whiteboard to show variations of students understanding from concrete thinking to abstract thinking. Student displays of work and explanations allow for deeper understanding and more mathematical discussions.
