My students need audiobooks to help them discover the newest adventures their favorite book. They need individual listening libraries with four copies of books for each table.
I have the privileged to give knowledge to lower class student. Most of my students come from low income homes, despite all the obstacles they come with creative and are eager to learn. Kindergarten is the foundation of learning so I want to have the opportunity to provide my students with many storybooks to help promote literacy and expand their vocabulary. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush.
My classroom goals for my students are for them to be building skills and knowledge.
The students will learn about phonics, sounds, alphabets numbers, colors, friendship, and how to write. The work we do in this classroom is building relationships, staying with the group, following directions, and accessing general education content in different ways.
My students are curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge. They love to read to each other, but my school doesn’t have a librarian so they don’t have the chance to check out books. As English language learners, books are so important to my students and are truly valued.
My Project
The books and alphabets will help my students understand that their is more to the world than their community. It will give my students the opportunity to grow and be successful kindergarten by allowing them to listen to reading.
Kindergarten is the foundation of school so scholars need to be able to understand the alphabets and sounds.
They need to be able to write and identify each one. These materials will give the students the opportunity to have an hands-on experience with the alphabets to help them grasp and understand each one. These materials will help the students learn how to write each one.
