it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These children love project-based learning. They get a chance to share their knowledge of home gardens at school. Creating connections between families helps create an unforgettable connection to retain information. These students get excited about learning everything. School is a new world for them. The light tables are great teaching tools that can enhance visual intrigue, collaboration, development such as fine motor skills, enhance sensory play, pre-writing skills, and hand and eye coordination. They can explore shapes, insects, and leaves using a light table. A class garden provides students with information on how food is grown. Can promote healthy living, nutritious eating habits, and greater respect for nature and the taste of the food they have had a hand in growing. These children live in the city where there is more asphalt and buildings than there is nature. Not all children get to enjoy a home garden. These experiences will open their eyes to another world of food and wonderment. The paper and laminating sheets will enhance all learning. Thank you for taking the time and sharing your treasures!
