My Project

By donating to our project, you will not only fill our classroom library with books, you will be helping my students become lifelong readers. My students will be able to have the opportunity to choose from a variety of books to engage in while in the classroom.

Not only will these books provide an adventure into reading about different places and characters, but provide an opportunity to teach writing and grammar skills.

Each book will be used to focus on a different writing skills like sentence structure, capitalization, nouns, verbs, and punctuation. Incorporating these books into lessons will spark my students interest in reading and writing.

I have observed how incorporating a book into a lesson will engage students, increase participation, and spark interest reading. This project will be the start of creating a literature rich classroom environment.
