Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a wonderful group of young adults with disabilities who are over the age of 18 years old. They are in my class to learn job skills and get hands-on experience so that they can get competitive employment upon graduation.
My students are visual learners and need a lot of visuals to support comprehension.
They are also kinesthetic learners.
So, I always make sure to provide my students with printed visuals and/or a hard copy that they can write on to reinforce what they are learning. With that being said, the printer and copier play a vital part in our classroom. We have an old printer and an old copier. Both are over 10 years old, so the paper gets jammed often.
