My Students

Our scholars come from a wide variety of backgrounds and many have faced unbelievable challenges. Through our technology classes we try to close the gaps between the scholars that have had a lot of exposure to technology and those that have not.

We want to prepare all our scholars for life beyond a classroom and expose them to new opportunities.

Many scholars gain most of their technology experiences while at school, as many do not have these opportunities at home.

My Project

We offer 3D printing classes, and our scholars love creating 3D models from scratch and having them printed. We currently have 3 older 3D Printers that can’t keep up with the amount of scholar creating and printing. In addition, this new 3D Printer can be connected wirelessly which cuts out 3 extra steps in our current set up. This means more time for the scholars to continue dreaming and creating!! The additional printer will also help as we are anticipating more scholars in the upcoming school year. I’m excited to see all the amazing things our scholars can accomplish with 3D modeling and printing.
