This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are high-achieving students at a Title l school (100% free/reduced-price lunch) They are eager to learn and work hard. Many are second language learners. They want to show what they know and shine. Many students will show in the regional (SARSEF) and AZ state (AzSEF) science and engineering fairs. Some receive awards and recognition every year.
We are learning to have personal responsibility.
We have iPads, which we treat like our own babies. My students have great ideas and will be future leaders in the community.
My Project
Our students want to take their iPads hometown do their homework and research projects. We need a few chargers and cables so that everyone can charge up at home. My students are learning to be responsible. This will allow them to prove themselves. They will be ready to start their day. Charged up!
We need replacement keyboards to help us write up our science fair research projects.
Great ideas are happening, but we need wire keyboards to meet district security protocols during test times. My students are always fired up and ready to write. We use need some keyboards so we can all work at the same time. We need to be wired up!
