My project needs a new Teach Easel/Wipe-off board.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Evans's classroom raised $294
This project is fully funded
I teach in a Title 1 school in Brooklyn where almost 90% of the student population receive free lunch. I teach a third grade, part time inclusion class. That means that some of the students are labeled "students with special needs".
My classroom lacks some important necessities for daily instruction. Although my school is given a budget, funds are usually allocated to places other than classrooms. I usually wind up spending my own money on classroom necessities. There are so many things that I would like to do with this board.
The wipe off board that I am requesting will benefit the students in various ways. For one, it will be used to teach all major subject areas including math, reading, writing, social studies, and science. Also, the wipe off board is nice to look at and I know the students will be intrigued to see the many things I will do with it. I could do amazing math lessons where I draw out the solutions to problems with colorful markers. I could do fantastic reading lessons where I can make books come to life. The chart stand would be the backbone to all of my lessons.
Please help me to help my students. I have been teaching for seven years now, and it breaks my heart when I can't give the students what they need and deserve. I'm sure you feel the same as I do.
