Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class consists of 32 students who learn differently from the rest of the school. We love to work on projects, complete escape rooms, and work hard to meet the goals on each IEP. My students come in each day with a desire to do better and work hard.

This year specifically, my students have had needs beyond what I normally have had to help with in the special education classroom.

Many of my students have alternative seating needs which do not allow them to sit at a normal desk or table. Because of this need, my students have been using separate dry erase boards and clip boards. To my amazement, they make dry erase clipboards! This will help keep my students and my classroom more organized.

These clipboards and markers would allow my students access to being more organized, have their white board with them at all times, and have fun with a new item to help access their curriculum.
