My Project

Wisconsin winters can be very cold! This project, Winter Wraps, will provide warm mittens and warm socks to each of my students - wrapping them up for the cold months ahead.

The large majority of my young students walk to school each day and it can get very cold and providing warm mittens and socks will give them some level of protection against the harsh winds and blowing snow.

Not all of my students come to school with appropriate outerwear and I am aware that not all families are able to purchase mittens or gloves - it may simply not be in the budget. By providing my students with these essentials, I am able to take away these outside stressors and let them come to school as kids ready to learn.
