Help me give my students the gift of staying warm and comfortable while exploring in the snow during recess this winter.

My Project
In Pre-Kindergarten, part of our curriculum is to go outside twice a day. There are obvious health benefits to being outside such as breathing fresh air, exercising our bodies and taking a break from the indoors. However, the outdoors is also an amazing learning environment for our students. This is where we investigate our world and begin to understand early science skills.
Too often, students arrive at school without the basic cold weather supplies needed to enjoy the winter snow.
These supplies of hats, gloves and shovels will help them to bundle up and continue learning.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
