Winter is Coming...Snow Pants Needed

My students need snow pants to make recess warm and enjoyable.

My Students

Low-income. Homeless. High poverty. These are words that people often use to describe our scholars. However, the words people should concentrate on are high achievers, determined learners, and creative thinkers. We are scholars who have a hunger to learn, a passion for knowledge, and a need to succeed. We are looking to expand our critical-thinking skills, explore our creativity, and develop our talents for twenty-first-century learning. We are looking to develop our gifts and talents and need your help to do so.

My Project

Although it is still summer, winter is coming and with it there will be snow and cold. Many of my scholars cannot afford snow pants or other outdoor gear that helps to make a winter recess warm and enjoyable.

We need snow pants that we can lend to scholars during recess so they can play in the snow with their friends.

These six pairs of snow pants would allow us to start to outfit our scholars with the proper winter clothing. Through this donation more scholars could build snowmen, make snow angels, and sled during recess without being cold and wet for the remainder of the day.
