This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have recess time everyday. It’s a great time to unwind and socialize with their peers. Normally they are outside, but during the winter that can be difficult. Indoor recess is great as long as the proper supplies are in place. A nice refresh of games and art supplies will be a consolation price to the heated soccer games.

My students love to play games during indoor recess and create chess tournaments.

Unfortunately over the years we have lost some pieces. This will give more students opportunities to play some classic games and learn new ones.
