it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Have you ever been caught outside in winter without hats and gloves? Do your hands/ears turn red and start to tingle? Imagine having to stand at the bus stop without having gloves and a hat to keep you warm.
My school has almost 700 students this year, and many of them come to school without hats and gloves during the winter months.
Another teacher and I have been working hard making hats for kids at our school, but we are having trouble keeping up with the need. These hats and gloves will help us give students what they need now. I have added in some pairs of socks also because in some cases kids are wearing shoes without socks. Please help us keep our students warm.
