Winter Gear and Smart Snacks for Growing Brains and Bodies

My Project

With winter coming closer I want to be prepared to offer our students winter gear to keep warm for our recess times. My Pre-K students have almost an hour of recess every day! To ensure all students have access to the important gross motor activities and outside play all year long we want to make sure student will be warm and comfortable. Students will use the snow pants, winter jackets, and gloves on days they forget their gear at home or if they are not able to afford or send these items to school every day.

Having a classroom that is well stocked with these items will gives students and families to flexibility and access to come to school and know that they will have the clothes to keep them safe and warm all winter long.

To ensure that every student is well nourished and ready to learn we want to provide them with snack choices that meet their needs. Pre-K students have fast moving, fast growing, and hard working brains and bodies. The Goldfish and Nutri Grain bars just the right snacks to provide students with ample opportunity to decide what snacks meet their needs while also providing adequate nutrition to keep them fueled for a day of learning.
