Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"Look good, feel good; feel good, perform good!" The dancers enrolled in our dance/cheer team are a unique group of dancers that serve our school community. They work incredibly hard to not only put on several dance showcases, but also perform at the school assemblies and sporting events to help promote school spirit and excitement. The dancers in the team come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. They are all at various dance levels, but together they work hard to create memorable performances for the students. The dancers rarely get costumes for performances due to funding limitations but are always grateful for what they do have. They are the most delightful group of children and I would love to gift them with new costumes to wear for their upcoming Winter Concert so they can feel as good as they look!
