My Project
Understanding the changes in weather from month to month is a standard heavily focused on in kindergarten. Through exposing my students to these concepts through books I can engage them by also teaching them.
Through these selected stories my students will explore the chilly and mysterious season of winter while also learning about the fun adventures to be had in the snow.
Currently, our playground area is still being built so our ability to go out and explore the weather while at school is sometimes not as feasible. However, my students absolutely love staying in and cuddling up with a good book during our wellness time. These new books will give my students more exciting pieces to read, but also give them the chance to explore what makes winter so special.
