Help me give my students warm, sturdy boots for the icy winter weather.

My Project
My school exclusively serves newcomers, or students who immigrated to the U.S. and are within their first year of attending an American public school.
Many come as refugees, struggling not only to adapt to a new language and culture, but also to obtain necessary supplies like clothing and shoes.
Most of our students come from warmer climates. They often have never experienced snow or cold temperatures; this is reflected in their wardrobe. Our families may not have the budget to get appropriate cold weather clothing for their child, and footwear can be the most expensive and difficult item for them to obtain.
Winter-ready boots are more expensive than casual shoes for milder temperatures. It isn't always possible to get boots from thrift stores or donations, since used shoes can already have wear that makes them uncomfortable for a new foot. Lacking access to boots, some students come to school in sandals or slippers!
With this project, I hope to collect multiple pairs of boots in children's sizes 3-7, which is our school's greatest need for footwear. These boots will help us support our younger students' comfort, safety, and health during the upcoming winter months, allowing them to focus less on their footwear and more on their education. Thank you for considering my project.
