it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students LOVE math time but have been really struggling with remembering basic math facts. This year we have had to play catch up with basic addition and subtraction skills while introducing multiplication and division. The math power pens and cards and the math brain electronic games will allow the students to independently practice their basic math skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills in a fun, very interactive way that is different than the usual flashcard or paper and pencil approach. These tools will be extremely helpful because they are able to check their answers along the way so they know if they are practicing the math fact correctly.
