My students need fun ways to learn and enforce their reading and language arts skills. I am asking for vocabulary, fluency and comprehension cards, along with ELA centers.

My Students

I am a firm believer of if you make something fun, it's no longer work. I want to be able to provide fun activities for my students to "sneak" in learning all day long. SHHH, don't tell them!

I teach a very active bunch of 3rd graders in coastal Georgia.

I have taught pre-K and I now teach 3rd grade. The only difference between the two grades is size - both 4 year olds and 8 years olds just want to have fun and show off what they have learned.

My Project

I love seeing my students grow. The only people who love seeing that growth more than me, is the students themselves. I have students graph their growth each month. I am hoping to make learning more fun. When they are having fun, they are learning more, smiling more, and working better as a team. They love making sure that everyone "wins". I have picked English language arts and reading activities for the students. I know that they will love playing these! This will really help to reinforce their reading fluency and vocabulary skills as well as help students with identifying parts of speech. The students will be able to use these in student led and teacher led centers. Please help us all become reading and language arts "winners".

We work in centers, small groups, and partners a lot!

By having ready made materials for the students to use, we will be able to work more efficiently. By using the 5 minute vocabulary cards, fluency cards, and comprehension cards I will have a fast way to teach and assess. The language arts learning center will be great for my independent groups. Students will love playing these games.
