My Project
Here at KHS on the Big Island of Hawaii we are looking at increasing the skills and capabilities of our students when graduating from our career and technical educational programs. We are currently wanting to add welding to our agricultural program so that our students will have the confidence , skills and problem solving abilities to be competitive in the workforce after leaving high school. Our teachers have recently participated in an upskilling workshop in welding and want to bring that education down to our students by building a welding program and curriculum into our classes. We are jumpstarting this program by entering our students into a welding competition that will take place at the beginning of 4th quarter this year. Please help support our students and our program by helping us get the necessary equipment for them to learn, practice and ultimately compete!
