My students need new "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books to replace the old ones with broken bindings, and worn out pages. We also need the two new titles we don't have.

My Students
We are a Title One school, with an 84% poverty group of students, K - 6th grade. I work very hard to keep our Library collection up-to-date and current, with a $0.00 book budget. I write lots of grants for library books but, sadly, many of them do not get funded. I see no change to this any time soon.
About 25% of our students are from many third world countries all over the world.
These English learners really love books with humor and great art work. All of our other students love the Wimpy Kid series, as well! Many of our students rarely go a public library, due to lack of parent involvement and/or transportation issues. For many of our students, our library is the only library they have access to. My students LOVE the Wimpy Kid series, and have worn out our current copies!
My Project
I have chosen replacement copies for the most worn-out Wimpy Kid books we have. I have also selected the two new titles that we were missing from the series. These new books will be a welcome resource for all our students. It will be so great to have the complete series! With winter weather here, "Cabin Fever" will fit right in with our other winter reading!
Please help us revitalize our Wimpy Kid books!
The new library books will be a great addition to our collection, and will last for years! All these books will be loved by our students. Please help out students stay excited about reading! Thank you for any and all donations!
