The Wilson Reading Program engages readers and helps teachers access development programs for students across several different contexts. The reading program will offer me the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in how to provide effective reading instruction and intervention in the classroom.
This program provides professional development for classroom teachers, literacy coaches, and school leaders.
It increases the capacity to create school cultures that prioritize excellent literacy instruction. Wilson is a pioneer and leader in championing the science of reading and will empower me in pursuing a “Literacy for All” approach. It will help me in improving instruction for students with dyslexia and ensure that all students learn to read and spell through a research-based multi-sensory, structured literacy program. Please help make this project a reality by providing me with resources that I can learn to use to enhance the reading instruction in my classroom.
