Wildlife Research and Story Rug in the Library

My Project

As libraries are being challenged and budgets are cut across the country, our school library is flourishing. And our students love to read and research about endangered animals and the environment more than any other topic!

Please help us create a cozy library space with a forest-themed story rug, and help us conduct wildlife research through animal and bird encyclopedias.

Our students speak over 40 languages and bring diverse perspectives, and they are united through their shared love of animals and fish.

Our library is already an awe-inspiring space that celebrates the natural world. We have an astronaut corner with a celestial theme and a forest-themed story area. We raise frogs, butterflies, and snails and do hands-on learning through our aquaponic garden.

A forest-themed carpet will create a more welcoming space for story time, and animal encyclopedias filled with dynamic photos and graphics will motivate students to learn about our beautiful and endangered planet.
