Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this project, every student in Kindergarten through 2nd grade will receive the same brand new book. This would be over 260 books. The students will explore this book in school with their teachers and classmates. The students will also have the opportunity to share the book at home and to work on activities alongside their family members that connect to the book. And then bring the project to school to share with their classmates.

My hope is to see an increase in family engagement at home and at school.

As well as build reading skills.
