My Students

I have the honor of teaching Reading to a fantastic group of Kindergarten scholars! The resiliency they have shown over the last 18 months ( COVID Pandemic) is noteworthy! We are so excited to be back in person with one another and even more excited to explore our love of literacy! Our goal is to build strong, confident and fluent readers!

My Project

The Covid 19 Pandemic shifted the learning experience for students worldwide and many of our students experienced some learning loss.

My goal is to ensure that my students not only recover from such loss, but excel in spite of it, by building the foundational literacy skills necessary to be successful in Kindergarten and beyond.

I’d like to use the requested materials to make our Phonics, Phonemic Awareness, Blending, Decoding and Writing activities as engaging and exciting as possible! With the generous support of donors, 40 scholars will have access to resources which can positively impact their learning for years to come!
