My Project
Learning to read is a huge part of first grade. Just like athletes and musicians must practice their skill, readers need a chance to practice reading. I am asking for books to give my first graders materials to practice reading.
With the addition of more books to our classroom library, my students will have opportunities each day to build a love for reading.
They need to practice reading to increase their accuracy, fluency, and comprehension, and hopefully create lifelong readers.
My students enjoy reading and need more materials that are on their level. The books that I am requesting were chosen to keep the students engaged and provide them with books on their level to boost their confidence in reading.
