This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a second-grade teacher who is lucky enough to teach 30 students. With all of those students in the classroom, we have some high energy that is constantly flowing through the classroom. I offer my students flexible seating to allow the students' energy to be focused on their learning.
Flexible seating allows my students to move while learning!
I have been doing this type of seating for about a year now, and have already seen a huge difference in behavior and learning outcomes.
With this project, I am hoping to be able to add a different variety of seating options for my students to use. The different types of stools that are on the list allow for the students to wiggle while doing their learning.
