My Students
My students attend a Title I school, so a majority of the students come from families with low incomes. Some of them are learning English as their second language, and having hands-on and very visual learning experiences are best to really help them get the vocabulary necessary to be successful in school.
My students are full of excitement about learning and love coming to school!
The students I work with are full of great questions and really care about doing their best. Some of them are dealing with challenges in life, but they are all wonderful kids and a joy to work with!
My Project
Many students in my class are busy little learners and having a flexible seat will really help them learn while still having a chance to wiggle around. Students in chairs often tip back and there have been more than one tumble backward. I would like to bring some of these wobble chairs into my classroom to have options for students to sit on a different chair while still learning in the classroom.
Wobble chairs can help my students stay safe as well as support the need of some students to move around often while learning.
I anticipate this project being a really exciting one if we can get funding to bring these three wobble chairs into our class! It will also help students for years to come!
