Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The furniture will catapult the students into the learning zone. Students will be able to rotate and take turns using the furniture while working in small groups and teacher centers. Students will take a break from sitting in chairs all day and can learn comfortably. Students will have access to choose how they want to learn on a particular day. It will make them take ownership and be engaged in their own learning. My students love small groups, it gives them a sense of teamwork and collaboration. Students will all take turns learning and teach each other about their newly found love of learning. My students are unique and all learn differently. This center will help them wiggle while learning at their own unique pace. The curtains will help shield the light from the windows.
