Have you ever tried to keep 25 tiny tornadoes sitting “criss-cross applesauce” all day? In my kindergarten classroom, energy is a superpower—and these little superheroes need more than just capes. They need flexible seating!
Why?
Because five-year-olds are like popcorn—there’s no “off” switch. Traditional chairs are kryptonite for creativity (and, let’s be honest, make awesome drum sets but terrible launchpads for learning). Flexible seating—lets my students choose the spot that helps them learn best, whether they need to wiggle, wobble, or curl up with a book.
With your help, we’ll transform our classroom into a wonderland of choice, comfort, and collaboration. We’ll build stronger readers, kinder friends, and maybe even a future yoga master or two.
