My students love to learn, but many times are fighting the urge to get up and move around while they are supposed to be in one specific area. With the help of these 'bouncing chairs' my students will be able to not only get their work done, but release their energy at the same time! Yahtzee!
My second grade students attend a rural, low income school which is very sparse with its supplies.
My students are eager to learn and I would love to supply them with a learning environment that is beneficial to everyone, including students that are high energy.
My Project
Educators report that exercise balls provide particular benefits to students who suffer from ADHD. These students easily lose focus and tend to fidget in their seats. The exercise balls, provide a release for their bottled energy and increase their ability to focus. They are building their educational foundation and their lack of focus could force them to miss important content.
