My Project

Movement is something we all need as people. In first grade we try to have daily movement breaks (our favorite is GoNoodle!). I alternate with having the students sitting on the rug as a whole group, working with a partner cooperatively, working independently at their desks and working in a small group with a teacher. Sitting for a long period of time can be challenging for some students. These wobble stools, wiggle cushions and flexible elastic bands will help give students movement while continuing to stay focused on their work.
