I teach 25 kindergarten kiddos from the Bellevue and downtown Nashville area! I teach at a Title One school, meaning the more then 50% of our students are in the low
socioeconomic status.
My school is a melting pot of students, we house a large percentage of ELL students as well as students with special needs. Our school is so lucky to service so many different students, but it becomes challenging to meet all their needs. I'm hoping these wobble chairs will help my learners be engaged in learning!
My Project
I am diving into the flexible seating option for the 2016/2017 school year! I am excited about this opportunity for my learners and want to give them loads of options! These wobble chairs are highly recommended for the students that need a little movement when working.
I hope this will improve productivity for each of my learners!
Giving students the choice of where they sit will increase ownership in their learning! The wobble chairs have proven to be successful in many colleagues classrooms and a huge hit with this age group! Kids that need to wiggle will be able to while working! Win-win!
