My Students
I currently have twenty, fun-loving students in my class. This group of kids is full of future lawyers, doctors, nurses, teachers, and more!
Our school houses just over seven hundred students and all students receive free breakfast and lunch due to the economic background in our area.
Our wonderful school currently serves students in grades PreK-4 and provides rigorous academics, skilled teachers, and a safe learning environment. My goal is to be able to provide educational experiences for all the children in my classroom that will keep them excited about school and become lovers of learning.
My Project
These wobble chairs will replace my standard chairs at my small group table. There are many benefits that the chair provides. Students grow their core strength, balance and are able to think better which promotes better learning and attention to details. It also helps with those children with ADD or ADHD by providing an outlet for restlessness and extra energy.
These chairs will not only change my students' lives but mine as well.
I can just imagine the benefits that these wobble chairs can provide to them in just a short period of time. Even though my students do not sit for long periods of time, I do think that having these wobble chairs will make for a better learning environment and overall learning experience in my third grade classroom.
