Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 3rd graders with autism. They are hardworking, smart, and a joy to be around. In spite of their learning disabilities, they come to class daily with a positive attitude ready to learn.
My students are superheroes, ready to take on challenges, despite the odds stacked against them.
Our class ranges from a variety of learning styles that includes multi-sensory, kinesthetic, and visual learners. These students have great potential and if given the right tools, can soar academically.
My Project
My students are hardworking and excited about learning. During independent work time, they tend to fidget and move a lot. Providing them with wobble chairs can help promote movement, while still keeping them engaged in completing the task.
Students can benefit from movement in order to focus and learn.
Wobble chairs are an innovative alternative to traditional classroom seating options. With these in my classroom, I can help provide my students who need movement with an active learning environment. With wobble chairs, my students can learn better and be more productive.
