This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When thinking about how we learn/work best, I often think about the environment I am in. Do you have a comfy chair you use at work, or even a comfy space at home? I want students to feel at home while they are at school. A comfortable workspace calms the mind and allows students to focus on what they are learning.
Over the years I've provided various seat and workspace options for students to create a comfortable place to learn.
I am fortunate to have a couple wobble seats, however they are a class favorite and everyone takes a turn using it on different days during the week. That's why I'm writing a request for more wobble seats. These are what my students want and I want as many students as possible to enjoy using our wobble seats more often!
Please help me support student comfort while learning and donate towards more wobble seats for our classroom. Help students get the wiggles out to help calm their minds so they can focus on learning.
