My Students
GAP is a wonderful place to come and enjoy the arts while learning. Our class has a very diverse set of needs with half of the students speaking English as a second language.
Each day is a new adventure in the world of learning.
My students come to school to be fed, feel loved, and find their place in this world on top of learning how to be a citizen in today’s world. They enjoy the safety of the community we have built.
My Project
I currently have a few options for flexible seating in my classroom and would like to add more to make sure each student has the choice of flexible seating when we are working at our table spots. We all know it never feels good to be in the group without.
By offering the choice of flexible seating to all students it will increase their stamina of independent work time and give their body a chance to wiggle and move in a healthy way as they continue their independent work.
Students can bounce, wiggle and jump as they work!
