My Students
I teach a class of high-energy kindergartners. They do their best learning hands-on, and they like to move a lot. My class has a wide range of abilities and home lives. They are happy to be at school and eager to learn.
We are a K-2 school with over 600 students, and we have 10 kindergarten classes.
We are definitely a primary focused school with high standards for student learning. We believe all students can learn, and every staff member is committed to the success of each and every student. It is a wonderful place to teach and learn!
My Project
I have several students with ADHD in my classroom. I also have several others who just have lots of wiggles. This is very typical for 5- and 6-year-olds. I like to allow my students wiggle time throughout the day, but we can’t always get all our wiggles out in order to focus in on our lessons.
These wobble stools will be a wonderful solution to our wiggle problem.
I’ve requested enough so that my reading table can have these stools instead of chairs. I currently have carpet seating and chair seating in my classroom. These wobble stools will be such a nice addition to our classroom. Please consider contributing to this project to help us wiggle while we work!
