My Students
Creative, active, and curious are just a few words that describe the ninety preschool through fifth grade students at my school! The students come from small towns and farms throughout the county to a school which houses preschool through 12th grade students in rural South Dakota.
Those creative, active, and curious students LOVE integrated and hands-on learning.
I am building an integrated learning lab to develop life-long readers, lovers of learning, and imaginative thinkers. Students will read, build, create, explore, and discover!
My Project
Flexible learning is important in modern learning environments throughout a school. I am creating an integrated library and maker space learning lab for our elementary students. My students need Oodle stools to provide flexible seating options in this learning lab.
Imagine a flexible learning lab that encourages literacy, creativity, discovery, and technology.
Not only will students read and learn in the library and maker space, but they will also use technology and work cooperatively to create, discover, and make! There will be bookshelves full of books throughout the room, but there will also be movable tables and Oodle stools placed throughout the space.
Oodle stools provide both a unique and unconventional seating option for students...so they can wiggle while they read OR create! Oodle stools are versatile stools that include three stackable and movable cylinders on a rocker base. Oodle stools can be stacked in various heights and placed throughout the library and maker space for students to use while reading or working.
