My Project

We are a sweet bunch of 21 kindergarten students! Help our classroom transform into a space where my littlest learners can move, choose, and engage in the way that works best for them! By introducing flexible seating options—such as wobble stools, floor cushions, lap desks, and scoop rockers—my kinders will have the freedom to learn in a way that matches their unique energy and learning styles.

Why This Matters:

Our littlest learners are full of curiosity—and wiggles! Traditional desks and chairs don’t always meet their physical or cognitive needs. Flexible seating allows them to take ownership of their learning space, encourages movement (which is essential for early childhood development), and supports both focus and collaboration. When students are comfortable, they’re better able to concentrate, communicate, and thrive!

What We Need:

Wobble stools for active sitting

Floor cushions for group reading

Scoop rockers for cozy reading corners

Clipboards and lap desks for mobile learning

A small rug or carpet tiles for collaborative floor work

TPT gift cards to purchase movement-based learning resources and flexible seating support resources
