This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our speech therapy classroom consists of multiple Title I-funded teachers who help kindergarteners through fifth graders flourish in their speech and language abilities. Our students are special because they all learn and process information in different ways and they are exploring the world of socializing with peers. Providing them with these rectangular tables will allow them to work on their socialization skills while still maintaining COVID-19-safe distances from one another. The tables give students opportunities to participate in group work during STEAM projects yet independent work when required. These wonderful students deserve a spacious place to work that can be adjusted to their growing needs and you can help us get them these essential pieces of furniture.
