My Students
I am a 4th-grade teacher who works at a wonderful school that has a diverse group of students. I typically have students with specialized needs and/or are English language learners as well as general education students at various levels of development. I love teaching my passion for learning and I love that my students are always up for a challenge to strive to their highest abilities.
Students love to come to a classroom where they are free to learn in fun and creative ways!
My students love to read and write. They also love social studies and science, especially hands-on activities. They love to sit on nontraditional seating choices and movement opportunities.

My Project
My students have loved sitting on the one wobble chair that I have in my classroom this year. It helps them to focus their attention on the ​instruction being taught in a more clear way than a traditional chair. In addition, wobble chairs clearly stabilize the body in space and help students who may have attention deficit disorder. The game set will be fantastic to keep the students engaged during indoor recess and/or as a reward. Most of the games require them to use their critical thinking skills, while still having fun! Playing games is also beneficial to improve their social skills!
